The load-bearing structure consists of two two-span steel truss main girders of constant depth. It is a basic truss system without vertical members, made of steel tubes.
The deck of the footbridge is formed by a semi-precast reinforced concrete slab, which is composite with the cross beams of the supporting structure. The superstructure is supported on elastomeric bearings at the abutments, transferring vertical loads from the main girders through the support cross beams into the substructure.
The intermediate steel support acts structurally as a pendulum column. The overall structural depth in the span is 2.05 m. The total width of the footbridge is 5.72 m. The centre-to-centre spacing of the cross beams is 3.0 m. Individual members of the truss structure are made of steel tubes.
Length of the load-bearing structure: 54.60 m
Total length of the footbridge: 64.80 m
