For Doprastav, we contributed to the construction of a new bridge over the Nosice Canal designed for pedestrians and the public, as part of the development of modern transport and pedestrian infrastructure in the region. The bridge combines functionality with a distinctive technical solution and represents an architecturally and structurally interesting element within the area.
The load-bearing structure is designed as a continuous steel box girder suspended from a single pylon by means of two planes of inclined cable stays. The continuous girder has spans of 17.00 m + 93.00 m. The longer bridge span is supported by five cable stays, spaced at 15 m intervals from the axis of the girder support on the pylon. On the opposite side of the bridge, the cables are anchored to anchorage blocks located within parallel wing walls outside the bridge’s load-bearing structure. On the counterbalancing side, with a span of 17.00 m, the load-bearing structure is integrated with abutment P1. The girder, with a total length of 111.64 m, is divided into 8 erection sections. Transversely, all erection sections are divided along the bridge axis into two equal components connected by a longitudinal erection weld. The load-bearing structure was assembled on site from 16 erection components.
The bridge span is 107 m, the total length of the bridge structure is 118 m, and the bridge width is 4.40 m.
The construction included the technically demanding erection of the steel structure, carried out using the incremental launching method, with an emphasis on precision, stability and safety throughout the entire construction process. The result is a modern bridge structure that improves accessibility for pedestrians and the public while also enhancing the infrastructure in the Nosice Canal area.
The total value of the contract amounted to €1,000,053.
