SO 240 – Railway Bridge over the Relocated I/33 Road at km 44.179 of the Jaroměř – Dvůr Králové Railway Line
The project involved the construction of a permanent single-track railway bridge with a through-deck structure. The primary steel load-bearing structure, weighing 55 tonnes, consists of main girders reinforced with a truss system and composite-connected to the bridge deck. The steel bridge deck structure has a weight of 97 tonnes.
The total weight of the bridge’s steel structure is 152 tonnes, with an overall length of 59.55 metres. The structural design was developed with a focus on reliable railway operation, the required load-bearing capacity, and long-term durability of the bridge structure.
The project was carried out as part of the modernization of transport infrastructure and represents an important element ensuring the safe crossing of the relocated I/33 road along the Jaroměř – Dvůr Králové railway line.
