As part of the project carried out for BÖGL a KRÝSL, our company was involved in the implementation of SO 240 – Railway Bridge over the realigned I/33 Road at km 44.179 on the Jaroměř – Dvůr Králové railway line.
The scope of the project included a permanent single-track railway bridge with a deck located below the main supporting structure. The bridge’s steel load-bearing structure, weighing 55 tonnes, consists of main girders reinforced by a truss system, which are structurally connected to the bridge deck. The steel structure of the bridge deck weighs 97 tonnes.
The total weight of the steel structure of the bridge amounts to 152 tonnes, with an overall length of 59.55 metres. The structural design was developed with an emphasis on the high reliability of railway operations, the required load-bearing capacity and the long-term service life of the bridge structure.
The project was implemented as part of the modernisation of transport infrastructure and represents an important element ensuring the safe and reliable crossing of the realigned I/33 road on the Jaroměř – Dvůr Králové railway line.
