R2 Bridge over the Slatina River and Road III/05098

The bridge structure spans a river and a road. It forms part of the R2 expressway, designed in the 24.5/100 category. The cross-sectional arrangement on the bridge follows the standard layout of the expressway—a four-lane, directionally divided carriageway with a clear width of 11.25 m for each direction. In spans 1 and 2, the bridge is widened with a transition section to accommodate the connection to the Detva interchange.
The weight of the steel structure is 1,465 tonnes, and the length of the steel part is 349.9 m.
