For the City of Trenčín, we completed the Elevator Shaft for the Social Services Home as a turnkey project, contributing to improved accessibility and greater comfort for the building’s users. The project included earthworks, foundation works with micropiles and reinforced concrete structures, as well as the fabrication and installation of the above-ground steel structure of the elevator shaft.
The lower part of the structure was constructed as a cast-in-place reinforced concrete structure founded on micropiles, while the above-ground section consists of a steel structure clad with sandwich panels. The scope of work also included the construction of access landings on each floor, including steel floor structures and a roof system with thermal insulation. Particular emphasis was placed on a high-quality technical solution, precise integration with the existing building, and reliable long-term operation.
The result is a modern and functional solution that ensures safe and comfortable access between individual floors while improving the accessibility of the facility for its users.
