Fabrication of the steel structure for a railway bridge designed to carry a railway line over the Čierňanka River. A separate load-bearing structure was designed for each track. For this reason, the track center distance had to be increased to 8 metres compared to the original layout.
The reconstruction was carried out by replacing the existing bridges with entirely new load-bearing structures. The original riveted truss bridges with an open deck system were replaced by new all-welded steel bridges featuring a bottom orthotropic deck with a trough for a continuous track bed. The span of the new bridges is 36 metres.
